Aside from their original milk chocolate biscuits, Bourbon‘s Alfort come in quite a lot of flavours now, and a new one for the summer is this, salt vanilla. Instead of plain biscuits, they use cocoa ones with vanilla-infused, faintly salty white chocolate as the icing. Salt vanilla might sound like a surprising combination and the salt is actually barely discernible. The richness of the vanilla contrasting with the biscuits more than makes up for this, though, and these are definitely a treat I will be having again.
