Royce, one of Japan’s high-class chocolate makers, has been doing collaborations lately, and one of their recent ones is with Glico. Together, they created a special (and quite sold out) Valentine’s range, where several of Glico’s regular products were made using Royce chocolate instead. One of the products was their Premio chocolate nuts. I wasn’t able to get hold of the almonds before they disappeared from the shelves, but I did get to try the macademias. While I’m not sure they warrant some of the high prices I see them being sold for on Amazon, they are quite delicious, the salty taste of the macademias working very nicely with the rich Royce chocolate, and definitely a gift to enjoy should you receive them.
