Meltykiss is one of Meiji‘s major chocolate ranges. The originals were little chocolate cubes characterised by the smoothness of the chocolate and their dustings of cocoa powder. Recently, the range has expanded, however, and this winter saw the release of Meltykiss Pyramids. Using the same smooth chocolate, they are shaped like pyramids instead and filled with delicious caramel, firmer than indicated in the picture but still very much melt-in-your-mouth. Since they are a winter range, they are probably (sadly) going to disappear from the shelves soon, but they have been quite a treat while they’ve lasted and one can only hope they will make a return next year!
