Kabaya have a range of French-inspired sweets known as their Carême range (Google tells me this means Lent?). Anyway, the sweets in question are pretty good and this chocolate-rich Quattro is no exception. Given the name, it’s probably not a big surprise that four is a big theme – there are eight individual chocolates, and each of them made up of four layers. From bottom up, the layers are: cocoa biscuit, fresh cream sauce, semi-bitter chocolate and they are topped off with bitter chocolate. The flavour is very rich and, if you’re a chocolate lover, very satisfying. Original milk chocolate/vanilla and green tea flavours are also available.
