Meiji Porte Chocolates

Another type of chocolate that appears in winter, Meiji’s Porte are cute little puffs with a surprising amount happening.

As this image shows, Porte have a whipped cream centre on top of a biscuit base. They are surrounded by a thin shell of chocolate and dusted with cocoa powder.

For the time being, Porte are available at most convenience stores and quite a lot of supermarkets. I recommend them as a slightly-fancier-than-usual chocolate treat!
